The lesson on Sunday begins with doing yoga. The children choose from different yoga cards that depict animals or other positions. The animals are ones that we are learning, such as:
דבורה - bee (devorah)
דוב - bear (dov)
נחש - snake (nachash)
ארנב - rabbit (arnav)
כלב - dog (celev)
חתול - cat (chatul)
פרה - cow (parah)
קוברה - cobra (cobra)
עיץ - tree (eitz)
הר - mountain (har)
גשר - bridge (gesher)
משולש - triangle (meshulash)
Then the children go to the מעגל - circle (ma'agal) with Bentzi, where they review words and phrases they have learned. They also learn two new words or phrases and do an activity to use these words.
The children either do an art project relating to the vocabulary, or play a game related to the vocabulary.
BREAK - The children play on the playground for 10 - 15 minutes.
When the children come back, we learn about either holidays, mitzvot, parasha, or something related to Jewish learning.
